Andrew trained with Carey Olsen in Jersey, and was sworn in as an Advocate of the
Royal Court of Jersey in 2004. He advises promoters, fund managers, administrators,
banks and investors on the establishment, authorisation and regulation of all types
of investment structure and fund-
Andrew has substantial experience in banking, finance and general corporate and commercial work and has advised on a range of commercial matters for clients including governments, trust companies and international banks as well as Jersey based businesses and individuals.
Andrew undertakes conference speaking and regularly contributes to professional publications and media on investment fund matters, including the Jersey section of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Yearbook 2009.
Andrew was praised by the 2012 Edition of the Legal 500 for investment funds, for being “responsive and experienced” in corporate and commercial matters and having “the requisite experience” in banking and finance.
Andrew was ranked by Chambers and Partners 2011 as a leading lawyer for investment funds advice in Jersey, which also praised him for being “pragmatic, accessible and helpful”
The 2009 and 2010 editions of Chambers and Partners ranked Andrew as the sole “Up and Coming” Investment Funds lawyer in Jersey, also praising him for providing an “enthusiastic, thorough service”.
